Justice March 30, 2012 Terraiums Terraiums are fun to make. You need rocks at the very bottom. Then you need dirt on top of the rocks. Plus , you put the seeds in. Finally you put the right amount of water on top of everything. You have to take good care of it. You will need to water it. Plus , when the seeds grow into plants you will have to take them out. You will have to water them a lot. It is okay though it is fun. You will have to put it in a window in front of the sun. The water cycle is very important. First the water rains. Second it fogs because the heat. Then it evporats back in to the clouds that is called condensation. Finally it percipitaion. That is what the scietist call rain. Terraiums are really cool.

If you mix up the rocks and soil then when you put the water it will get all muddy. You put your seeds inside the drit but not all the way our it will not grow. I already put mien in it is a onange marigold it looks like a paint brush. When it get's fogy then you put in the sunlight but put it in a room next to the window it won't die.

The reason why the sun is important is because the sunlight gives the plant some light to grow and if there were worms give it the right nutrients to the soil to help the plant grow. Also, that the sun is so bright the water can get dry and become the water cycle.
There are three different types of seeds and the names are Marigold, Alysuvm, and the Cilantro. Also, that some of my friends got three marigold seeds and the others got some alysuvm. Then, I had got the alysuvm plant and its growing right now at my house and its going to look so cool when I get home also its going to look so beautiful. Plus, the two types of jars you can get is a plastic type or a glass type. Finally, my plant is going to be a white plant and its going to look so pretty.

We put the hole in it because sometimes the plant needs fresh air. The last thing you do is take your plant home and put it by the window. Thats all you need to know to care for your plant. First we had to put rocks , then we put in dirt. in the proses i found a fossil of a shell! it was cool. Then we planted the seeds and watered them. However I think mine wont work because its to muddy. Well there is alway a chance if it dosen't i can alweas can try again. We are still wating for them to grow. I hope they will work .
