Kids were allowed to draw anything during this activity. The only instructions were to draw a picture of your favorite person, place or thing. There was a lot of excitement in the air and the markers were moving rapidly. Little did they know, but a Language Arts assignment was lingering in the background.
The final step of the afternoon was to use several adjectives to describe their drawing. It was a little bit of a struggle, but they all survived.
