I was thinking about fractions the other day and how to reduce them.
1. What if I had two students that wanted to share 16 skittles, then the fraction would be 2/16. Could I reduce that fraction (Hint: could I split up evenly the number of skittles between the students)?
2. What if I had 3 students that wanted to share 5 puppies, then the fraction would be 3/5. Could I reduce that fraction (Hint: could I split up evenly the number of puppies between the students)?
